The mission of Acceptance is to help hard working people deal with life’s uncertainties, so we are offering our sweepstakes winners a chance to direct their ‘Give A Smile’ to the American Red Cross because of their commitment to the same.

Blood Drives

The Red Cross is proactive about saving lives and taking care of our fellow Americans through their blood donation and blood drive programs. About 40% of the blood supply in the United States is donated through the Red Cross. Donor blood helps save lives for cancer and surgical patients, those suffering from chronic illnesses, and those injured in traumatic incidents. Acceptance locations have served as blood drive sites in the past, and we encourage all those who are able to donate blood to do so regularly.

Lifesaving Skills Training

95% of Red Cross responders are volunteers, many trained by the Red Cross themselves. But you don’t need to be a first responder to learn CPR, First Aid, or Basic Life Support skills. They even offer swimming lessons and courses for babysitters. This commitment to service strengthens our communities and builds our ability as a country to take care of each other – which is our commitment, too.
