People here are laid back and you may find them fishing off one of the many piers and enjoying fresh seafood at Indianola Fishing Marina or Miller\u2019s Seafood. There\u2019s a small movie theater called Twin Dolphins, as well as parks and a golf course.<\/p>\n
Interstate 35 runs right through Port Lavaca and can be heavily traveled with tourists coming off the causeway and heading south to popular holiday destinations, like Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. Broadway Street intersects 35 as well as Texas State Highway 87, which heads north. All of these travelers can impact Port Lavaca residents, especially during the summer months and Spring Break.<\/p>\n
